The Club

We are a club of about 30 members, meeting at St Julians Club on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 for dinner at 8.00.

Sevenoaks Amherst is a lively club, known in District 1120 for its hospitality, its humour and a varied programme of service in the community. A warm welcome is extended to all Rotarians who are in or planning to visit the Sevenoaks district. We are well accustomed to greeting guests from all over the world.

If you are interested in enjoying and contributing to the Rotary ideals of service, speak to our Secretary and come to a meeting to learn more about club activities.

The Club's Secretary is Ken Arthur (01732 454224 secretary@sevenoaksamherst.org.uk) and the Meals Secretary is Roy Thomas (01732 456062). Give either a call to arrange a visit.

St Julians

St Julians Club is on a wooded hillside with spectacular views to the south of Sevenoaks.

The main building was a Victorian mansion and the premises include residential accommodation and business and artistic communities. The latter is reflected in our dining room, which doubles as a gallery for mostly local artists. With its extensive views of Kentish countryside, the dining room offers a unique atmosphere for fellowship.

Finding St Julians

St Julians is off the A 225 (Tonbridge Road) south of Sevenoaks town centre.

Leaving Sevenoaks travelling south, pass The White Hart Inn on your right after a mile or so and take the next left turn (200m) into a narrow road following the high mesh perimeter fence of Knole Park. Continuing to follow the fence on your left, turn right at the St Julians sign (800m) and the narrow twisty lane leads right into the car park.
