Meals and speakers
We meet for dinner at St Julians Club on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 for 8.00. There will usually be a speaker and meetings finish at 10pm.
Partners are always welcome but special "partners evenings" are held 6-8 times a year.
There is also a formal dinner dance in spring and a festive Christmas party in December.
French exchange visits
Sevenoaks Amherst is twinned with the Roubaix Est club in Lille. There are usually several short meetings in the course of the year and a full annual exchange visit which runs for a weekend and includes families.
We have also fostered links between schools in Sevenoaks and Lille and helped arrange exchange visits for students.
Walking
Every Thursday a group of Rotarians and their friends meet for a guided walk of 7-10 miles. No charge is made for these walks.
Kent is fortunate in having a multitude of footpaths and these enable the walking group to enjoy fresh air,exercise,friendship and the beauty of the countryside during the ever changing seasons.
Walks
normally conclude with the option of refreshment in a country pub.
Information on the weeks walk is distributed by e-mail to enable walkers
to decide on their availability.

Cycling
There are several keen cyclists in the club and membership of the Rotary cycling fraternity takes them and their families to various parts of Europe.

Golf
There are a number of golfers in the club and members can also join in the Rotary golfing activities.
