Circuit Of Kent Cyclo Sportive
Circuit Of Kent Cyclo Sportive is a challenge cycle ride organised by The Rotary Club of Sevenoaks Amherst. In the last two years it has raised £90,000 for charity.
The 700 entrants have a choice of 130kms or 80kms routes. In both events riders will be given a time based on age and gender and can try for a gold, silver or bronze standard. All riders are given an electronically operated tag to wear and their times are recorded as they pass under the finsh banner. However it is not a race and entrants have the choice of riding as slow or as fast as they wish. The route follows quiet roads and is clearly arrowed or marshalled.
Wildrness Golf
Now in its 12th year this quality event has raised in the region of £35,000 for local Kent charities. Continuing to play Wildernesse, we are committed to the quality of the play and the day.
Set in the beautiful Kent countryside near Sevenoaks, Wildernesse has a deserved reputation; a reputation we try to enhance. There are no sponsors and no commercial pressures to mar your day. Our members are positioned strategically around the course to welcome and guide you, and to supervise a fund-raising competition or two! After as much lunch as you can (or wish to) eat the afternoon is yours to spend as you and our team please: stay in the 19th and chat, play another 9 or simply return to the office. The choice is yours.
Open Gardens
The open gardens event is organized by the Rotary Club of Sevenoaks Amherst in aid of Rockdale Housing Association in Sevenoaks.
Children in Need
Our two-day collection at Tesco Sevenoaks totalled £2938.
Concerts
Each year we organize one or two concerts in aid of local charities.
